1. Scope and Subject Matter of the Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Pack Planner and you as a user of our mobile application and associated services. By installing and using our app, you agree to these terms without restriction.

Pack Planner provides a planning platform for families, which includes calendars, to-do lists, shopping lists, and a local document safe.

2. Registration and User Account

To fully use all collaboration features, creating a user account is required. You agree to provide truthful information during registration and to keep your credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activities carried out through your user account. Abuse of the account entitles us to block it immediately.

3. Local Document Safe and AI Assistant (Gemma 4)

A key part of the Pack Planner architecture is based on an "Offline-First" and data-minimizing approach. Sensitive data stored in the encrypted document safe is stored encrypted on your device by default.

The optional evaluation of school letters using our integrated Gemma 4 AI Assistant takes place locally on your device to maximize your privacy. It is your responsibility to make backups of your encrypted local data.

4. Premium Memberships and Payment Terms

Additional premium features are offered on a subscription model via app stores (Apple App Store & Google Play Store). The respective prices and billing intervals will be shown to you in detail before purchase.

Billing is handled directly through the respective store provider. A cancellation of the subscription is possible at any time via the account settings of the respective app store with effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Limitation of Liability

Pack Planner assumes no liability for missed appointments, lost data, or incorrect interpretations by the AI Assistant. You use the app and the information provided at your own risk.

For damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, we are liable according to statutory provisions. For other damages, we are only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence.

6. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to adapt these terms of use if necessary to account for legal changes or functional enhancements of the app. We will inform you in a timely manner within the app about significant changes.
